The arrival of the first-ever BMW M2 with M xDrive shatters tradition by bringing all-wheel drive traction to a legendary rear-wheel-drive purist icon.

Equipped with a 473-horsepower twin-turbo straight-six, this new powerhouse utilizes its extra grip to slash its 0–60 mph time down to a blistering 3.3 seconds.

Purists need not despair, however, as drivers can completely disconnect the front axle with a button press to return the car to 100% rear-wheel-drive drift mode.

Offered exclusively with an eight-speed automatic transmission, production is slated to begin in August 2026.
