Tonight is bigger than basketball! The whole world is going to see the lights, the cameras, the sold out arena, the Finals logo on the court! But what they won’t see is everything it took for you to get here. They won’t see the sacrifices. They won’t see the nights you doubted yourself. They won’t see the pressure of leaving New Orleans after giving part of your heart to this city. They won’t understand what it feels like to start over somewhere new while the entire world watches every move you make. Watching you carry yourself through every chapter the wins, the criticism, the expectations, the trade rumors, the uncertainty. Watching you stay grounded when everything around you was changing. And now here you are. First game of the NBA Finals.
