Your big toe carries 40% of your foot’s push-off force. When it shuts down, your knee and hip pay for it.
Your big toe is the last thing you’d blame for your foot problems. But it might be the first thing you should look at.

The adductor hallucis is a small muscle running along the inside of your foot. Its job is to stabilize your big toe and support your medial arch. When you spend years in narrow, rigid shoes, that muscle stops doing its job. Your big toe drifts, your arch drops, and your foot loses the tripod base it needs to distribute force evenly. That lost stability doesn’t stay at the foot. It travels up the chain. Your knee starts caving inward to compensate. Your hip rotators overwork. Your balance deteriorates because the foundation underneath you is no longer stable.

This reel walks you through three banded drills that wake up your big toe, re-engage the adductor hallucis, and rebuild your foot’s natural support system from the ground up. Each drill builds on the last, from seated isolation work all the way to full squat integration.

Save this for your next session.
