The press community in Mexico is in shock after journalist Roxana Berenice Guzmán Ramírez was violently kidnapped from her home in Nanchital, Veracruz, in an attack she partially recorded herself. The abduction took place on June 2, and as of now, Roxana remains missing.

According to multiple reports, armed men arrived at her residence during the night and forced their way inside. Roxana, realizing the danger, began recording on her phone — capturing the terrifying moment the attackers entered. The video shows the men shouting, pushing their way through the doorway, and advancing toward her.

Within seconds, the intruders dragged her out of the house, pulling her across the floor and into a waiting vehicle. Neighbors reported hearing screams before the car sped away into the darkness.
