Experience the Outdoor Rec Trek at the Maryland Outdoor Recreation Summit in Baltimore!

What is the Outdoor Rec Trek?

The Outdoor Rec Trek is an immersive team challenge that transforms downtown Baltimore into a living case study of urban outdoor recreation. Participants will navigate their way through waterfront trails, pocket parks, and hidden green spaces, discovering firsthand how the city weaves nature into its core. Think part competition (yes, with prizes!), part exploration, and fully designed to spark ideas for how outdoor spaces can inspire connection, movement, and play in an urban setting.

The Outdoor Rec Trek kicks off the 2025 Maryland Outdoor Rec Summit on Tuesday, October 28th, and concludes with a celebration at the Baltimore Peninsula – complete with music, food, drinks, and fun!
The rest of the Summit continues with inspiring speakers, dynamic sessions on the impact of outdoor recreation on health, community, stewardship, and local economies, plus plenty of time to network and sign up for additional outdoor excursions.
