Last year, Troy and I lamented that Ottawa had no New York style, by-the-slice pizza places.
‌
Then, like an answer to our prayers, schoolhouseottawa appeared in September, and has been making its mark on the city’s food scene ever since.
‌
They’ve been welcomed with open arms by the community, becoming known for their iconic New York style pizzas. Thin, foldable, but never floppy 👌🏻 You can get 18 inch pizzas ($27-$30), or big slices ($7 each).
‌
My favourite pizza of theirs (and possibly my favourite in Ottawa!) is the Made in Brooklyn, with cup & char pepperoni, confit garlic ricotta, and hot honey 🤤
