cocottebistro_ottawa at the metcalfehotel downtown is one of the prettiest spaces in Ottawa imo. They have 3 chic areas you can dine in: the library, the bar, and the main bistro. All are equally stunning, with decor inspired by Parisian bistros.

Cocotte’s menu is stacked with traditional French cuisine and local ingredients. Everything we ate was delicious, right down to the bread, which was served with a local honey butter 🤤
‌
And of course it wouldn’t be a French bistro without an extensive wine list. With local favourites and private imports, I’ve never been disappointed by a wine recommendation here!

🔥Hot tip: Make sure to check out their happy hour menu from 3-5pm Sunday through Thursday. You’ll find drinks and snacks starting at $8!
