## Caption

Having a heavy pitch matters because it makes the hitter’s “good swing” feel like bad contact…😵‍💫 When a pitcher creates that tight spin with a strong snap, the ball has more life through the zone and does not feel easy to drive🙅‍♀️ That means even if the hitter sees a pitch they like, the spin can keep the ball from jumping off the bat. The more you can create heavy spin, the harder it is for hitters to square you up consistently🙌 #softball #pitching #strikeout #pitcher #mindset
