Cabbage roasted with garlic, parmesan, and hellmannsmayonnaise for the perfect creamy-crispy finish.

Ingredients:
* 1 medium cabbage, quartered
* Oil for searing
* 3 cups chicken broth
* ½ cup Hellmann’s Mayo
* 1 cup grated Parmesan (or to taste)
* 8 cloves garlic, minced
* ½ medium onion, thinly sliced
* Salt & black pepper, to taste
* Parsley, for garnish
Cornstarch Slurry:
* 1 Tbsp water
* 1 Tbsp cornstarch

Instructions
1. Sear the Cabbage:
Heat a skillet over medium heat with a bit of oil. Sear the cabbage quarters on both cut sides until golden. Remove and set aside.
2. Build the Base:
In the same skillet, sauté the onions and garlic until fragrant. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Return the seared cabbage to the pan and pour in the chicken broth.
3. Bake Until Tender:
Cover the skillet tightly with foil and bake at 400°F for 30 minutes, or until the cabbage is fork-tender.
4. Make the Sauce:
Remove the cabbage again and set aside. To the pan broth, whisk in the Hellmann’s Mayo and Parmesan until smooth and creamy. Add the cornstarch slurry, then bring to a gentle boil to thicken the sauce.
5. Smother + Finish:
Return the cabbage to the skillet and baste with the garlic-parm sauce. Let it warm through for a few minutes.
6. Garnish:
Top with parsley and extra Parmesan before serving. Enjoy!
