Nights like this don't happen by accident.

They start with two founders who said yes to a dream — and brought professional soccer to Rochester, Minnesota. They're built in the early mornings, the late nights, the long planning sessions, and every coach, staff member, and volunteer who showed up and gave everything they had over the last 8 years. 

Tonight, the Mayor joins us for opening remarks. The Rochester Chamber cuts a ribbon alongside us. And our two founders' home country of Bosnia steps onto the World Cup stage for only the second time in history — on the eve of the tournament coming home to America.

Every flag represented. Every story welcome. That's what this game does — and that's what this club is about.

But the real reason we do all of it? It's the last photo. The next generation of soccer players and fans right here in Rochester, Minnesota — kids who now have a direct path from their first touch of the ball all the way to pre-professional play.

To every person who has worn the RFC crest, coached our kids, cheered from the stands, or believed in this club from day one —

Tonight is because of you.
