During the filming of The Notebook, Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams couldn’t stand each other. At one point, Ryan even asked the director to replace her in the middle of a scene, right in front of her. They had a private screaming match just to get the tension out. 

After filming ended, the off-screen fighting turned into a real-life love story. They dated for almost three years. In a GQ interview, Ryan said: “God bless The Notebook.
