​Before the suits, the sashes, and the competition heats up, the delegates of misterecoint 2026 traded stage lights for sunlight at the Forest Bathing Trail inside Camp John Hay, one of Baguio City’s most beloved nature escapes. The trail is inspired by the Japanese practice of “Shinrin-yoku” or forest bathing, encouraging visitors to slow down, unplug, and reconnect with nature.

​Fun fact: Camp John Hay has been part of Baguio’s story for more than a century and remains one of the city’s most important eco-tourism and forest conservation destinations.
​
​And honestly? If you’re competing in a pageant with “Eco” in its name, a walk through towering pine trees feels a lot more on-brand than another hotel lobby photoshoot.

​From around the world to the Philippines the delegates are proving that environmental awareness can look just as good in hiking shoes as it does in a tailored suit.
