Something that stuck with me at this year’s banditgrandprix. mr.johnseph said that no one is going home from this event without a picture. I think the special thing about this time around was letting go of everything I had obsessed over the previous year. I built up this image of myself, that I just had to shoot things differently because I needed to prove how good I was. But I had forgotten what makes my work so special. It’s the people who support me and the running community that jump-started my career. I saw so many friends this day, people I’ve connected with over the years, running their hearts out and smiling when they saw me out there on the turns. This is what it’s about. Bravo bandit for another year well done.
