Donut Day has a pretty special history 🍩
A lot of people don’t know that salvationarmyus helped start National Donut Day back in 1938, inspired by the “Donut Lassies” who served donuts to soldiers during WWI. As a baker, I love that something as simple as a donut can carry that much meaning: service, comfort, and gratitude.
