The committee for the Global OTT Awards 2026 has officially added South Korean actor Lee Ki-taek to this year’s highly competitive lineup. The actor is officially nominated for Best Newcomer (Male), confirming his participation in the upcoming event as one of the standout international talents of the year.

Lee enters the competition following his widely discussed performance as Shin Ji-soo in the romantic comedy drama The Practical Guide to Love. Tasked with portraying a free-spirited character undergoing a complex personal evolution, Lee delivered a disciplined and grounded execution that anchored the series’ central narrative.
