Nothing is a coincidence. God’s plan is always greater than anything we could imagine for ourselves. Even in moments that don’t go the way we planned, I trust that He is working everything together for my good. I truly believe my life one year from now will look completely different because I trust God through this process.

And a gentle reminder: please never ask a woman when she’s having kids, why it’s taking so long, or make assumptions about her journey. You never know what someone is silently carrying behind the screen.

I was diagnosed with fibroids, and the original plan was a laparoscopic surgery. But once my surgeon began, she realized just how large the fibroid was and also discovered endometriosis. What was supposed to be one procedure turned into a robotic myomectomy, pelvic biopsies, and fulguration of endometriosis.

The surgery didn’t go the way I planned, but it went according to God’s plan and for that, I’m grateful.

My recovery will be much longer than I anticipated, but I thank God for a doctor who took the extra steps to remove the endometriosis and advocate for my long-term health and future fertility. I know this journey will make everything waiting for me on the other side even more meaningful.

I will never stop encouraging women to advocate for themselves, listen to their bodies, ask questions, and be mindful of what they’re putting into their bodies. Your pain is real. Your concerns are valid. Keep pushing for answers.
