Don't be afraid to battle the biggest Sand Dab.  Otherwise no one will remember your name. 

First time participating in the mdranglers 51st Annual Halibut Derby and it won't be our last!  Team bigbassdreams - Prime Drywall came together and executed just enough in multiple divisions!  The crazy thing is outside of riley.ngy's PB White Sea Bass, we DID NOT FISH CLEAN and lost so many big bass!  Thankfully we still landed enough mediums to thrust that sword into the jugular of the Saltwater Bass Division! (Troy Reference). 

Even after the unavoidable challenges fishing will present, including a monster bite on my swimbait from my trolling motor to kick off the second day, our team kept it lighthearted, fun and we were still able to FOCUS and adhere to my overall game plan. 

Thanks to my epic team for letting me run wild with the tactics and strategy and then helping me execute. Thanks to the MDR staff for putting on a really dope event and especially to the hard working TD dstewartfishing!  All the competing teams were awesome and we look forward to seeing everybody on the water the rest of this insane 2026 season! 

I have some openings available for epic coastal and island fishing in June & July.
