Denver Broncos linebacker #JonathonCooper was arrested Thursday night, marking his second arrest in just over a week.

According to jail records, Cooper was booked into the Douglas County Jail in Colorado and is now facing additional charges related to the woman involved in his June 4 arrest. The new charges include two counts of domestic violence, harassment involving repeated phone calls, and violating a protective order.

Cooper was previously arrested alongside his girlfriend following an alleged altercation that reportedly began over accusations of infidelity. Cooper told police the woman took his phone and that the two struggled over it before he asked her to leave his home. The woman, however, alleged that Cooper lifted her by the neck, pinned her against a wall, and repeatedly threw her to the ground.

While one responding officer noted that the woman’s visible injuries did not appear consistent with her account, newly filed medical records reportedly state that a nurse determined she had been at a “substantial risk of death.”

Earlier this week, Cooper pleaded not guilty to the original charges. In response to his latest arrest, the Broncos said they were “disappointed” and are continuing to review the matter. (📸: tmz_tv) ✍🏾: #TSRStaffLG
