On Monday night, Max Strus held his inaugural Bowl The Land charity event at Corner Alley downtown. The Cleveland Cavaliers were in attendance across the board, from his teammates, front office and franchise ambassadors. 

Having helped foster a community in his hometown of South Chicago and in Miami, Strus explained that he wanted to take his first opportunity to give back to Cleveland. He is inspired by his late uncle, who took him to a similar annual winter event, Bowl with the Bears, when he was growing up.

It was an amazing turnout on a day in between game days, with a number of families and organizations purchasing and sponsoring lanes — but most importantly, seeing the human side of the players. 

Proceeds will go toward multiple local charities in the Greater Cleveland area.
