James Cameron spoke at the SCSP Robotics Summit with a question nobody in AI wants to answer.

When AGI arrives (some debate it has), how long before it gets attached to a weapon system? He says about ten minutes after an adversary does it first. Once you have a consciousness smarter and faster than any human controlling weapons, the alignment argument, "we'll teach it to be good like a child", starts to look very fragile.

AGI leads civilization inevitably to a confrontation with morality. The question nobody has answered yet: whose morality. Whose idea of good?
