A bit of raw behind-the-scenes appreciation for the practical FX teams. Getting to sit in the makeup chair and test these different creature designs down at Sky Studios Elstree was a massive experience.

From the intricate multi-layered paintwork and seamless edge blending to the custom dental rigs that completely reshape your face, the artistry that goes into these screen tests is unbelievable. It’s a proper physical task just sitting under the silicone and testing the movement, but seeing the craftsmanship up close is next level.
