When I look back on this year, I see so much more than softball. I see God’s faithfulness in every step. I see His hand in every relationship, every opportunity, every challenge, and every blessing. Long before I ever wore a Husker uniform, God knew this would be part of my story. He knew exactly what my heart needed, and in His perfect timing, He led me here.

Nebraska gave me so much, but the truth is every good thing I found here ultimately came from Him.

The joy that resurfaced. The peace that carried me through uncertainty. The people who became family. The memories I’ll treasure forever. The little girl who fell in love with softball all those years ago. God graciously brought all of those things back to life in ways I never could have imagined.

This place reminded me that God is not only present in the mountaintop moments, but in the ordinary ones too. In the bus rides, practices, locker room laughs, conversations, wins, losses, and quiet moments when He gently reminded me that my identity was never found in softball. It was always found in Him.

Thank you, Nebraska, for being a place where I could grow not only as a player, but as a person and as a follower of Christ. Thank you for embracing me exactly as I am. Thank you for the friendships, the memories, and the love that made this year so special.

Most of all, thank You, Jesus.

Thank You for writing a story that was better than anything I could have planned for myself. Thank You for opening doors only You could open. Thank You for every lesson, every blessing, every hardship that drew me closer to You, and every person You placed in my life along the way.

I came to Nebraska for a season, but I leave with a lifetime of gratitude.

If I had to do it all over again, I’d choose this journey every single time because I know it led me exactly where God wanted me to be.

All glory to Him.
