Flying in or out of Kansas City? Ride the FREE bus between Kansas City International Airport and Overland Park! 🚐✈️

The Johnson County United Airport Drop and Ride provides direct service between the Overland Park Convention Center, Lenexa City Center and Kansas City International Airport.

The route starts and ends at the north side of the Overland Park Convention Center. You’ll want to get dropped off by a friend, family member, or rideshare service, because there is no long-term parking available on-site.

There are outlets in every seat, free wi-fi, and plenty of room for luggage.

After boarding at the Convention Center, the bus will then head towards Lenexa City Center to pick up additional passengers. After that, it’s straight to the airport! You’ll be dropped off at Arrivals, right next to the taxi stand. Simply walk into the airport, head upstairs, and you’ll arrive at security!

If you’re coming from the airport, walk past baggage claim and out the doors labeled D-F. Then, cross the road at signpost 1D. Once you get across, turn left and walk past the taxi stand to find the Johnson County United sign.

From pick-up to drop-off, the route takes about an hour. Buses arrive every 30-minutes from June 1 to July 16. Starting July 17, buses will arrive every 60-minutes for as long as funding is available.

Comment BUS and we’ll send you our transportation guide with bus maps, times and hours! 🚐✈️🚗🚲
