3 things I did that helped me stay in the Word on a bachelorette trip 🤍

1) I asked God to wake me up early.
Every night I prayed that He’d wake me up before others and give me time with Him and sure enough, He was faithful every morning ☀️ 

2) I chose to be in the Word and not of the world. 📖
It took discipline to physically get out of bed and choose time with Him, but I committed. I know in my heart I can’t do anything without Him, so starting my day with Jesus matters to me. “Apart from me, you can do nothing” - John 15:5 

3) I kept it simple, yet intentional. 
I’m doing a Bible in a Year plan and stayed consistent with that, but truly, find what works for you. A quick devotional, one Psalm, journaling, a Bible app reading plan… whatever helps you show up and spend time with Him is what he will be proud of. 🙌🏼

If it matters to you, you’ll make room for it, just remember it’s about intention over perfection 🤍🙏🏼 Thank you, Lord Jesus!
