Comedians, podcasters, and Las Culturistas Culture Awards hosts Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers step into PS 368 in Hamilton Heights, New York City to teach students the art of podcasting. This episode of Celebrity Substitute blends creativity, self-expression, media literacy, and plenty of laughs into an unforgettable classroom experience.

First, Matt and Bowen kick things off with a crash course in culture, helping students discover how culture exists all around them. Through conversation and examples from their own experiences, they show how finding your perspective is the key to creating great podcast content. 

Next, the students learn the art of the hot take with a classroom edition of the iconic “I Don’t Think So Honey.” Inspired by the fan-favorite segment from Las Culturistas, the students take turns passionately sharing their opinions on everything from homework and vegetables to video games and bedtime, proving that everyone has something special to day. 

Then, Matt and Bowen pair the students off and help them develop their very own podcast concepts. With microphones in hand, the students step into the role of podcast hosts and conduct original interviews with each other.
