The 6th Annual 517 Juneteenth Weekend Presented by LAFCU | June 18–21, 2026 | REO Town, Lansing, MI

Free to attend. All are welcome.

Four days of culture, freedom, and community in the heart of Lansing. From wellness conversations to a full-scale block party, 517 Juneteenth Weekend is built for the culture and open to everyone.

Thursday, June 18 | Healthy People Creating Healthy Communities
A free wellness seminar at the Cadillac Room featuring keynote speaker Dr. Alexis Travis, panels on mental health, financial wellness, and entrepreneurship, and the Robin Lewis Scholarship presentation. Doors at 5:30PM.

Friday, June 19 | Juneteenth Ice Cream Social | Presented by MSUFCU
A family-centered afternoon in REO Town with inflatables, live breakdancing, music by AOTA, the PNC Mobile Learning Adventure for kids, local vendors, and 600 free ice cream servings. 4:30–7:30PM.

Saturday, June 20 | 517 Juneteenth Festival & Block Party
Our flagship event. 7,000+ attendees, 100+ Black-owned vendors, a full food court, Kidz Zone, and live performances headlined by Jamila Woods, MikeyyAustin, and JMT, with sets from Kaels, Al Bettis, Christian Sykes, The Lansing Collective Worship Encounter, and more. 3:30–11PM.

Sunday, June 21 | Father's Day Jazz Night ft. Horn & Holland
Close the weekend with an intimate evening of live jazz at the Cadillac Room. A celebration of Black fatherhood, legacy, and community. Doors at 5:30PM.
