This week on Bringing the Heat with Trey Lyle, Caleb Barnes joins the show to go over a number of announcements and news items from the week, including Josh Berry’s announcement that he will not return to the Wood Brothers Racing No. 21 in 2027. While Barnes and Lyle feel like on-track performance pointed to a split, the two look at who could replace Berry next season. 

In another announcement this week, Michael Jordan, Denny Hamlin and Carson Hocevar were included in the Time100 Most Influential People in Sports. The two share their thoughts on why Hocevar was included, and if anyone else from the NASCAR world should have been considered instead.
