It was clear early in ‘Real Housewives of Rhode Island’s’ first season that aliciacarmodyri would be the show’s breakout star. That was obvious from episode one, when she casually dropped into conversation that she once “ran ova a woman” with her car. It became even more apparent an episode later, when she described a co-star’s cheating husband — a foot doctor — as someone who is “rubbing more than just a foot,” all while nibbling on charcuterie.

Like many before her, she says she joined Housewives hoping to find her voice, and she credits her fan support to being an open book: “I didn’t lie about anything; I didn’t change my personality. I shared my anxieties. I really went in with my full self, and I think people can feel that,” she says of her rookie season.
