I’ve been training Colin from 8 years old to 17 years old!

My longest active client of 9 years!!! Makes me feel old 👴🏼😅

Colin is as OG as it gets. I started with him back in 2017, when I was still doing my undergrad at Merrimack College. Back when I was just “Jonny”. I didn’t come up the brand name “Heads Up Hockey” until about 2022, when I decided to take the coaching thing to the next level.

Over the years, I’ve been able to spend a lot of time with this kid, I remember when he was maybe 10 years old, we would meet at North Andover high school and I would do off-ice training with Colin and his sister, Haylee.

I’ve been able to see him grow and develop into the player and young man he is today. The kid is a worker and has exceptional character.

I think it’s really cool how I’ve been able to see Colin turn into the player he is and he’s been able to see me grow too. Back in those early days (circa 2017), I used to dream about being able to do what I do today (doing hockey full time). Shoutout to his parents, Jenna & Myles, who gave me a shot at training him when I was just starting out…

Colin’s path leads him to repeating his Junior year at Holderness in New Hampshire (US-Prep) this fall.

Looking forward to getting Colin on the HUH coaching staff on the ice or on the bench for tournaments. He’s got a job whenever he wants.
