The 80s series continues — Part 5: Action Heroines.

The 1980s were a breakthrough decade for female action heroes. Characters such as Sarah Connor and Ellen Ripley proved that women could be every bit as memorable as the men leading action movies.

Personally, it’s hard to imagine the decade without them. They helped redefine what an action hero could be and inspired many future female characters. 

This post is a tribute to them 💪👠
