On episode #422 Jim Wendler, Matt Rhodes, and Vincent Dizenzo return to Dave Tate’s Table Talk for another roundtable built on more than two decades of friendship, lifting, coaching, mistakes, and stories from the strength world.

Jim Wendler is the creator of 5/3/1, author of multiple strength training books, former University of Arizona football player, and one of the most influential voices in simple, effective strength programming.

Matt Rhodes is a longtime strength and conditioning coach, elitefts team member, former collegiate strength coach, and current high school strength coach with decades of experience training athletes and building weight room culture.

Vincent Dizenzo is one of the greatest bench pressers of all time, a former all-time world record holder, elitefts coach, and a lifter who has continued to evolve his training, body composition, and approach to strength over time.

In this episode, Dave, Jim, Matt, and Vincent talk about what they were wrong about, what still works, what young lifters need to understand, how training changes with age, and what has actually stood the test of time after decades under the bar.
