Approximately 1 in 5 youth struggles with mental health. 

When it comes to mental illness, youth is a critical period: most people living with a mental illness see their symptoms begin before age 18. 

The stigma and discrimination that surround mental health issues often keep people from seeking the help they need, and nearly 60% of people who need it won’t seek help for fear of being labelled.
