Coaching dream team assembled.

What started with Zack and Dom training a few kids in 2023 has grown into something special. Along the way, we’ve met incredible people who share the same vision, passion, and love for this sport.

Our staff brings together high-level experience from Division 1 wrestling, national competition, youth development, and coaching at every level. More importantly, they care deeply about helping athletes grow on and off the mat.

Zack Zavatsky – 2x NCAA All-American, 3x ACC Champion, Virginia Tech graduate, and co-founder of TWA. Zack brings elite experience and a passion for helping athletes become their best selves.

Dom Scalise – University of Virginia graduate, former U20 US Open runner-up, and co-founder of TWA. Dom has been helping build the culture and foundation of the club from day one.

Matt Fields – Former NC State wrestler and Campbell Law graduate who is passionate about developing the next generation through the lessons wrestling teaches. Now part owner of TWA. 

Nikola Mirkovic – Former Williams College wrestler and football player with more than 10 years of coaching experience at the high school and collegiate levels.

Paige Nemec – Trailblazer in women’s wrestling, 2x Folkstyle National Champion, and girls coach at Apex High School who continues to help grow the sport.

Fredy Stroker – 3x state champion, Fargo freestyle national champion, Cornell graduate, and youth coach focused on giving back to the next generation.

We’re proud of the team we’ve built and even more excited for where we’re headed. The people make the place.
