At WWDC26, Apple announced the next generation of Apple Intelligence, a new architecture developed in collaboration with Google Gemini that deeply integrates powerful AI across platforms such as iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Building upon its privacy-preserving and “private cloud computing” technologies, the comprehensively upgraded Siri AI transforms into a more natural conversational personal assistant with “visual intelligence” and cross-app capabilities. Significant improvements are also being made to the everyday experience: Photos and the new “Image Park” feature “Spatial Reshaping” that reshapes perspectives in real time; AI image generation and Safari and Messages add automatic pagination and categorization, proactive call context prompts, intelligent conversational responses, and “Description Shortcuts” that allow users to automate steps using spoken language. These features will be officially released this fall with iOS 27 and other new systems.
