Honoured to be part of the 25th Annual Scrubs in Our City, presented by Holt Renfrew holtrenfrew, a truly special evening celebrating 25 years of impact, generosity, and hope for the children and families of SickKids. sickkidsvs 

This year’s Toronto-themed “Homecoming” gala was nothing short of spectacular, bringing together the spirit, culture, and iconic landmarks that make our city so special. Together, the event raised an incredible $1.44 million for SickKids Foundation, with proceeds helping fund the purchase of a new photon-counting CT scanner that will advance pediatric care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of countless children and their families.

A special thank you to the incredibly talented team at Dust of Gods dustofgods — antoniotadrissi Antonio, juli_mano Yuliia, and julianbaile Julian — for creating a one-of-a-kind artistic creation that beautifully captured the essence of Toronto. The level of craftsmanship, creativity, and storytelling was truly remarkable, with intricate details inspired by some of the city’s most recognizable landmarks and cultural touchstones, from Kawhi Leonard’s iconic Game 7 buzzer-beater against the Philadelphia 76ers🏀,Dragon City Mall, Chinatown, and the Dragon Gate, to the Gooderham Building, CN Tower, Princes’ Gate, and so many more. Every element was thoughtfully designed and expertly executed, making the piece both visually stunning and deeply meaningful.

What made the experience even more special was being part of the creative journey from the very beginning. Watching the initial concepts and visual renderings evolve into a tangible work of art was incredible. Seeing an idea transform into such an intricate and thoughtfully crafted piece, and then having the opportunity to wear it for such an important cause, was truly unforgettable.

Congratulations to everyone involved in making this milestone year such a success. Here’s to 25 years of changing lives, and to many more years of supporting the extraordinary work being done at SickKids.
