🌟 WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH SPOTLIGHT: ANI GHAZIKHANIAN '18L 🌟
The ND Club of LA is proud to continue our Spotlight Series, celebrating the incredible ND women shaping our community. Today, we feature Ani Ghazikhanian, a Los Angeles native whose career is defined by purpose, discipline, and a deep commitment to service.
🎓 Academic Excellence & Global Insight
Ani’s journey began at UC Irvine, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa, before earning her Juris Doctor from ND Law School. Her time at ND was marked by leadership; she served as President of the Sports, Communications, & Entertainment Law Forum and was a member of the Journal of International & Comparative Law.
Through the London Law Program, Ani gained global experience at LawInSport, conducting legal research on the intersection of technology and sports. Her published work on wearable data and due process reflects the thoughtful advocacy that still guides her today.
⚖️ A Dynamic Legal Career
Ani began her career in complex commercial litigation at top global firms Jones Day and McDermott Will & Emery. After honing her skills in-house at Activision Blizzard, she transitioned to her current role as Legal Counsel at Google (via Axiom Law). Advising on litigation for the Managed Risk team, Ani is known for her practical, solutions-oriented approach and her ability to navigate the most complex legal landscapes.
🤝 Empowerment & Community
Beyond the courtroom, Ani is an active member of the Armenian Women’s Bar Association. She is passionate about mentorship, creating spaces where women feel supported and empowered to advance in the legal field.
When asked, “What would you fight for?” Ani’s answer is clear:
"Empowering women to step confidently into spaces where decisions are made, ensuring they have the support and resources to lead, grow, and thrive."
🏔️ Balance & Growth
Outside of work, Ani prioritizes an active lifestyle—whether she’s on the soccer field, hiking, or traveling the world. She values the experiences that allow her to recharge and continue growing as a leader.
