Happy New Year, everyone! 

On January 11, we had our first event of 2023!

Notre Dame lawyers from the Los Angeles and Orange County Alumni Clubs hosted current law students for a concluding happy hour at Muldoon's Irish Pub in Newport Beach as part of the Notre Dame Law School Galilee Immersion Program. 

The Galilee program allows students to meet with public defenders, prosecutors, legal aid attorneys, private firm attorneys, judges, public policy advocates, and government attorneys in a city of their choosing during a 4-day program over Christmas break. 

The Galilee program offers many benefits to students by exposing them to a wide range of legal practice areas and helping them find their unique calling in the law and to connect with Notre Dame alumni in that city. 

The students also engaged in a brief service project during the program. 

We thank the all of the alumni who helped facilitate in the program and attended the happy hour. We wish the law students best of luck in their spring semester!
