We are so excited for our annual UND night at Tam O’Shantar Restaurant at 7 pm on Wednesday, October 12th!

We are so excited to hear Angie Appleby Purcell, Managing Director of the Notre Dame Institute for Advanced Study speak. Angie has been working at the university for over 15 years now and also went to graduate school at ND. She’s really made her rounds of the university in that time. She was heavily involved in building out the Care+Concern infrastructure that aided the university through Covid, as well as launching Faith ND in the past.

Since this is the 50 year anniversary of women at UND, she’ll share information and statistics about that whole journey, which is awesome since this is our “Golden is Thy Fame” year! She’ll discuss what’s new on campus as we emerge from our Covid world, touch on spirituality, and discuss what’s happening with ND globally and research. We will open it up for a Q&A segment as well to discuss anything that’s on your mind, too. Angie has worn numerous hats at the university and yes incredible interacting with her, so we can’t wait to see her.

We will not leave you hungry, either! We’ve got an amazing menu in store for you featuring hors d’oeuvres such as deviled eggs, bacon wrapped dates, bruschetta, and meatballs. 

Then, a main course featuring your choice of prime rib, chicken, salmon, or a seasonal vegetable entrée, followed by English trifle for dessert. 

Alcoholic beverages can be purchased at an additional cost. 

There will be time for conversation and networking and we look forward to a great event where you can see all your fellow alumni.
