Did you know that CJ McCollum played in the G League? For ONE weekend in 2014, the then rookie for the @trailblazers was sent to play for the Idaho Stampede (now defunct) as part of a rehab assignment. McCollum, who was just the No. 10 overall pick, appeared in two games and averaged 18.5 PPG in just 20.5 MPG. ⭐️ @3jmccollum 

Former G League veteran Reggie Hearn was on that Stampede team and talked about what it was like guarding CJ. He said McCollum was the most talented player he’d ever matched up against and he could tell that his skillset was on a different level.
