When your manager asks for your opinion in a meeting, it can be hard to find the right words quickly.

You may want to sound helpful, but not too confident.
Clear, but not rude.
Professional, but still natural.

A good answer usually does three things:

✅ It gives a clear opinion.
✅ It explains the reason.
✅ It helps the conversation move forward.

You can also use these phrases when a colleague asks what you think about a plan, a client asks for your recommendation, or your team is discussing the next step in a project.

More useful phrases:

🔵 I’d suggest [option] because [reason].

🔵 From my perspective, the main issue is [point].

🔵 I think [option] would work better because [reason].

🔵 My first thought is [idea], but I’d like to check one detail first.

🔵 I can see the benefit of that. My only concern is [concern].

🔵 I’d support that, especially if we also [next step].

You don’t need to speak perfect English. You need the right Business English phrases to express yourself clearly and with confidence.

Save this for your next meeting.
