Combining Australia’s legendary Barra inline-six with the iconic Nissan 300ZX is the ultimate recipe for a powerhouse project car.

While the Z32’s factory twin-turbo V6 is notoriously difficult to work on, the robust Barra offers cheap, reliable, four-figure horsepower potential.

What makes this build even more impressive is that no cutting was done to the stock body. Instead, it took over a year of planning and engineering to make everything fit using a custom subframe, spacers, a modified hood skeleton, and a notched oil pan.

Stuffing a massive straight-six into a chassis never designed for it is still a huge challenge, but this build proves it can be done while keeping the factory body intact.
