🍁 Clete Hanson has been named Head Coach of SFU Men’s Wrestling after serving in an interim capacity for the 2025-26 season. 

A former All-American and Red Leafs standout, Hanson steps into the position following a season of growth that saw major facility upgrades, expanded community programming, and strong academic and competitive success. 

With a talented young core and a recruiting class that includes multiple Canadian national champions, Hanson is focused on building on the program’s momentum and leading its next chapter.
