A huge thank you to djbeltron and the entire Skratcher Bay Area team for the countless hours, passion, and hard work that went into making this event a reality. From start to finish, the energy, hospitality, and community spirit on display reminded us exactly why the Bay Area remains such an important part of turntablist culture.
With an incredible turnout, amazing performances, and DJs from all walks of life coming together, the day felt like a true celebration of the culture we all love.

And there couldn't have been a more fitting place to honor DJ Q-Bert.

The Bay Area is the birthplace of so much of modern turntablism—a place that helped shape the sound, style, and future of scratch culture. To recognize one of its most influential architects, surrounded by friends, peers, and the community he inspired, made this Hall of Fade presentation even more meaningful.

DJ Q-Bert's innovation, creativity, and lifelong dedication to pushing the art form forward have inspired generations of DJs around the world. His influence continues to be felt every time a DJ touches a turntable and searches for their own voice.

With this induction, Q-Bert now joins fellow Skratcher Hall of Fade honorees D-Styles and DJ Shortkut—three artists whose contributions have helped define, elevate, and inspire turntablism across generations.
