This Instagram carousel shares some pictures from my visit to the Babe Ruth Museum in Baltimore, Maryland about 3 blocks from Camden Yards where the MLB team Baltimore Orioles play. Babe Ruth was a baseball player, maybe best MLB player of all time, and played for the Boston Red Sox, Atlanta Braves, and most memorable to MLB fans, the New York Yankees. He was almost equivalent to Aaron Judge today, but possibly even better.

At the museum, I saw many things such as the birthplace of Babe Ruth, the house he grew up in and was born and raised in… literally! There was his living room and pictures of him swinging the bat and hitting home runs. There were also many valuable and rare collectible baseball trading cards, such as Mickey Mantle, Lou Gehrig, Guy Zinn, Mike Doolan, Jack Dunn, Jehosie Heard, Frank Robinson, Jim Palmer, Birdie Cree, all of whom were baseball players or MLB managers. There were baseball bats and baseballs that were used by Ruth, stats over his career and seasons regarding bagging average, on base percentage, RBIs, and more, and even narrowed down to the MLB playoffs and World Series. There was a real size cardboard cutout of him, and so much more, such as a showcase of old Baltimore sports teams, paying tribute to the franchises.

Those old Baltimore teams include the Baltimore Comets, a professional soccer team who played in the North American Soccer League, the Baltimore Colts who used to play in the NFL, the Baltimore Clippers and Baltimore Jacks who played in the NHL, and a signed basketball from the Baltimore Bullets basketball team in the NBA. It was a beautiful museum and a perfect thing to do after I went to the Orioles vs. Toronto Blue Jays game.
