Our major rule when flying with the kids is that they must read 5 books (or 5 chapters for Summer) before any other activity—it’s our take-off ritual.📚❤️✈️

Rating the *mostly* screen-free activities we pack for the kids when we travel. I like the Fire kids’ tablet for Summer because you can download fun educational games and stories. It’s a nice treat she only gets on the plane, so it keeps its novelty without becoming an issue when it’s taken away. The wooden switchboard and Water Wows are absolute WINNERS for toddlers—money well-spent. 👏🏽💯
