kk so regular savings accounts pay you almost nothing

i think the national average is like 0.4%. 

VS. a high-yield savings account (HYSA) pays wayyy more, around 4-5% rn!!

what’s APY? if u dk, its just how much your $$ earns sitting there over a year. higher APY = more free money. same acc, same safety, you just get paid more

if u do the math $10k in a regular account earns u ~$38/year but the same $10k in a HYSA earns u $400+ & u literally didnt do anything  but move it 

some options to look at
