For Ignacio Perez, a rising junior in the College of Nursing, growing as a leader is central to making the most of his Creighton experience. Opportunities for leadership, service and the emphasis on caring for the whole person were key reasons the Milwaukee native chose Creighton.

Ignacio says that at Creighton he has found a “supportive, close-knit community where students are challenged to grow academically, professional and personally.”

With two years until graduation, he is preparing for a future as a registered nurse in a cardiovascular intensive care unit.
