બનાસકાંઠાના પાલનપુર ખાતે બાલારામ બ્રિજ ઉપર બહુવિધ વાહનો વચ્ચે ગંભીર અકસ્માત સર્જાયો હતો. પ્રાથમિક માહિતી મુજબ ટ્રેલર અને ટ્રક વચ્ચે અકસ્માત સર્જાયા બાદ પાછળથી આવી રહેલા અન્ય વાહનો પણ એક પછી એક ટકરાતા કુલ 8થી 9 વાહનો અકસ્માતમાં સપડાયા હતા. ઘટનામાં એક વ્યક્તિનું સ્થળ પર જ મોત નીપજ્યું હોવાનું જાણવા મળ્યું છે, જ્યારે અન્ય ઇજાગ્રસ્તોને તાત્કાલિક સારવાર માટે હોસ્પિટલમાં ખસેડવામાં આવ્યા છે. અકસ્માતની જાણ થતાં પાલનપુર તાલુકા પોલીસ ઘટના સ્થળે પહોંચી વધુ તપાસ અને રાહત કામગીરી હાથ ધરી છે.
