sugarandscribe looks like it walked straight out of a storybook, and somehow it tastes even better than it looks.

Here’s the thing: it’s run by Food Network champion Chef Maeve, and basically everything is made from scratch. 

Think award-winning pancakes, lobster benedicts, Emerald Isle waffles, and a nod to her Irish roots with a full Irish breakfast 🍳 

Then there’s the bakery counter, flaky croissants, gourmet scones, cupcakes, and that famous cookies & cream cake calling your name on the way out. 

You’ll find them at 7660 Fay Ave, just minutes from La Jolla Cove, with a sunny dog-friendly patio.
