The summer fast food releases are heating up so let’s get into our second list of the week. 

McDonald’s shared new details on the future of its chicken lineup as part of its McDonald’s Next plans. Most notably, a new version of McCrispy Strips is expected to begin replacing the current version during the week of July 6th with a crispier, crunchier breading. McDonald’s also reiterated plans to continue expanding its chicken offerings over the next few years, including an eventual push into hand-breaded chicken.

Arby’s has brought back its Sliders for the first time in over a decade. Four varieties are available for a limited time including Roast Beef, Ham, Chicken, and Buffalo Chicken.
White Castle is launching a new Garlic Parm Chicken Slider on June 15th. The limited-time sandwich features crispy onions and a roasted garlic Parmesan sauce made with Parmesan, Asiago, and Romano cheeses.

Subway has teamed up with Moana for five collectible cups featuring Moana, Maui, Mini Maui, Pua, and Heihei. They are available now as part of the Moana Movie Deal, which also includes a Fandango coupon for the live-action Moana film.

Scooter’s Coffee and Little Debbie are partnering on new Cosmic Brownie beverages starting June 18th including a Cosmic Brownie Cold Brew and Cosmic Brownie Latte.

Dairy Queen has launched new Hibiscus Sparklers and Coolers for the summer. From June 15th through June 21st, DQ Rewards members can grab a medium size for 50 cents in the DQ app.

Bojangles has added two new limited-time offerings with Peach Iced Tea and Blackberry Cobbler now available nationwide.

And finally, Freddy’s has permanently added Lettuce Bowls to its menu. Guests can choose from Steakburger, Crispy Chicken, Grilled Chicken, and Veggie Burger options with a choice of Fry Sauce, Ranch, Honey Mustard, or Thousand Island.
